Sustainable Agriculture

This project involved the development of a dedicated vertical hydroponic microgreens facility designed for efficient year-round production on a compact site footprint. Operating on less than one acre, the system has the equivalent growing capacity of up to 30 acres of conventional production, using controlled-environment methods to deliver consistent, high-quality crops. The facility supports local supply of fresh microgreens to major Irish retailers, including Dunnes Stores, while reducing land use and enabling reliable all-season output.
